Guido Ruggeri

(strings arranger)

Guido Ruggeri is an Italian composer. He works as a composer of scene music and he has actually realized over 300 performances in the major Italian theaters.

He graduated in Composition (1999) at the Conservatory “A. Casella” in L’Aquila, in Jazz Music (1994) and in Instrumentation for Wind Band (2008) at the Conservatory “S. Cecilia” in Rome. He also studied Piano and was specialized in Music and Performing Arts (2004) at The University of “Roma Tre”.

Guido has composed music for documentaries, for RAI Italian national television and Vatican Radio (“Kyrie” for chorus and orchestra – L’Aquila 2010). He composes music for several types of instrumental ensembles and among the various performers we can cite the prestigious Italian National Army Band (“Circo in festa” – Latina 2008).

He is currently Professor of Chamber music at the Conservatory of Music “F. Torrefranca” in Vibo Valentia (IT).
