Dino Fiorenza

Dino Fiorenza is an Italian rock-virtuoso bass player which performed with some of the greatest artists all over the world such as: Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Jennifer Batten, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Billy Sheehan, Andy Timmons, Simon Phillips, John Macaluso, Fabrizio Leo, Marco Sfogli, to name a few.

After classical studies in Europe, at the age of 18 Dino began to play the electric bass in local bands and, after a tour in Italy, thanks to his personal bass technique (a combination of 8 fingers tapping and funk slap), he joined the band of the European rock star Maurizio Solieri (Vasco Rossi), touring with him as ‘lead bass player’ for one year. In December 2002 Dino has been official nominated, together to names of the bore of Flea, Les Claypool, Stuart Hamm, Victor Wooten, etc…., for the award as better bass player of the year by the prestigious “Bass Player contest of the year 2002”. Dino works as teacher as well and he released two Bass methods featuring some exclusive and unique Bass techniques which can be defined as “alien-virtuoso” without doubts!
